This style instructs that students learn outside the classroom and review inside the classroom with teacher supervision. For example, students may be given a chapter to read and then will come to class and complete an activity that will deepen their understanding of the information they learned prior to class.
Open Educational Resource is exactly what it sounds like, a database for teachers to find resources that is open to the public to use freely for educational purposes. This is very beneficial for teachers because it can sometimes be challenging to find these resources elsewhere and when it comes to education, no opportunity for expanding knowledge should be off limits. OER Commons is a resource teachers can use to connect with teachers of all grades and view their work to help them.

I have learned a lot through our PowerPoint assignments. Mainly I have learned just how much you can do with PowerPoint. I am amazed how many different functions exist and how many different amazing things I can do to tweak my PowerPoint. That being said, I have also found this process extremely tedious and have learned that it takes a lot of patience and determination to get just write. Despite any frustrations I experienced, I managed to produce two PowerPoints that I am very proud of.
