My first experience with Diigo was very positive. I am not particularly very tech savvy but I found that Diigo was extremely easy to use and was not confusing at all. I could definitely see Diigo being a helpful resource that I would encourage students to use in my own classroom sometime as I feel it is an effective learning tool.
I have really enjoyed the blogging experience so far. I have always kept my own personal journal because I enjoy writing but I have never taken it upon myself to publish my own work on a blog. Although this is a little different because all blogging revolves around education and technology, I still find it as a nice creative outlet.
Youtube is my favorite Web 2.0 tool because it thousands of videos that can be helpful for any field of education. In every class I have taken in my later years of education, YouTube has been a constant way of reinforcement of the lesson the teacher gives. Especially in my Diversity of Education (EDF 2085) class I am currently in. In this class we watch educational YouTube videos every day in subjects such as race, gender inequality, and poverty. These videos have been a great educational tool.
