Blog Journal #7

I am a huge Twitter advocate. It is for sure my favorite social networking app because it contains such hilarious content. However, when it comes to using it for an educational purpose, I have been finding it quit difficult. I do not know exactly what to tweet that will be relevant information for EME 2040. Although, I do believe that a class webpage twitter account is a great way to send updates and have a lot of teacher and student interaction and can also serve as a medium for students to interact with each other.

The web design assignment has honestly been slightly difficult for me. It is hard to manipulate the sight to do exactly what I want. As well as a struggle to include all aspects that are required on the rubric. This does not surprise me though because I have heard teachers throughout my life discuss and often complain about difficulties in setting up and maintaining their class websites.

Here is the link to my web design so far (although there is still a very long way to go):

Adaptive and assistive technologies are extremely helpful to students with disadvantages. My mom is a school nurse and works very closely with the ESE program. She has explained to me how helpful new technologies including iPads can be for students and that these technologies are breaking through in a revolutionary way.
