The ELA standard in which I feel most prepared to teach is reading. For my other education class (EDF 2085) I have the opportunity to volunteer in a program where I get to teach younger, under-priveledged children how to read. I have loved working with these children, and although I was nervous I would fail at first, I have found that I have a passion and a talent for teaching children how to read.

The CPALMS resources and toolkit I found extremely helpful because it gives concise expectations of each grade level and subject and what a teacher is expected to teach their students. This is helpful for teachers because they will be better equipped to prepare students for tests better.

The Newsletter was extremely helpful for my Microsoft Word skills. It improved my skills with word art, columns, headers, and boarders. I also found this newsletter extremely fun to make and it made me excited for a long career full of making them,
